We needed to secure two dogs and three kids on the back seat. These clip to the isofix points so fit between the kids and allow the dogs to be appropriately restrained but with a reasonable amount of shuffling space. They feel very sturdy, neither of ours is a chewer but they'd take a while to get through these I feel.
The item arrived very quickly and just in time for the weekend to go for a dog party to the beach.
This method is much better than using a seatbelt clicker as my dog now can't free herself. The product looks well, is sturdy, well made and easy to adjust. The only trouble I had was getting attached to the latch bar in the first place, but now it's there and will just stay attached.
this item arrived early this morning in just under 24hours!, on first look it looked a little too short after sorting to the correct length it was perfect to begin our journey even more safely! as in the past we had to secure my boy with the seatbelt looping through his harness and lead. which gave him too much movement and caused him to become carsick but NOW we have the perfect security for him allows some movement and is VERY easy to install and use. very well made :) thank you so much for the best security ive found yet a happy pup/dog makes a happy owner
I have always used the harnesses that you loop the seatbelt through. This was really easy to set up and has been a lot easier to clip my dog in as I don't need to slide the loop over seatbelts which chould be quite tricky at times. My dog seems settled using it and the length is right so he doesn't move around too much. Excellent product.
I love how this clips in to the ISOfix and can clip straight on to a harness - having an awkward dog that shys away from his seatbelt harness (even though we put it on anyway) means that changing between his walking/seatbelt ones can be a nightmare especially in a busy area. Now we are not fiddling with looping the seatbelt through whilst having our ears licked and the dog spinning round and changing his mind on where he wants to sit. One simple click and he’s safe, secure and ready for the drive!
One con - as our dog is a flatcoat retriever he is quite tall and this device just about stretches to his height so he can sit comfortably - I’d definitely say an option needs to be made for bigger woofers!
